My dream is to go to England.  Does anyone know a cheaper way to go? airlines? places to stay?  Of course some time will be spent in London, but I want to see the countryside.  My heart yearns for it and I'll be very sad if it never happens. 

I just witnessed my cat have kittens...actually I think there is another one in there and I'm about to go check on her.  She wants me there when she has them..sweet.  However, since this is her 2nd litter in 6 months, I think it's time to do the ol' fixola.  My sons witnessed it too and were amazed.  Except the after-birth part...   Anyone else seen feline labor/delivery?  We don't have any problem adopting out her kitties b/c she's a beautiful siamese and her offspring are cute (not scraggily).  We actually had a waiting list for her last litter.  Can you believe that?  Thanks to Craigslist (re-homing) and of course a careful interview of the adoptive hopefuls.

Hello gang!  I just want to say hi and yes..this is my first blog. 

I am a current events enthusiast and when I'm done here, I'll probably be soaking up some more of it.  Right now everyone seems to be waiting with "baited breath" for Barack's Veep choice.  I haven't seen this much fervor and anticipation since.....(crickets).....oh yes, I thought of something.. everyone huddled around the tv at work waiting for the verdict for Scott Peterson's trial. What a way to stir up even more convention media coverage.  I saw mention of Texas Rep Chet Edwards as a finalist...(Kaine and Bayh are out) but fervor favor, however, tends to be leaning towards Biden.  Biden, they say, is a pit-bull and is what Obama needs, but there are also those Republican pundits who are praying for him as a pick so they can tear into their video archives and "go to town" on Biden.  I'd like to see that montage.  As far as who I think he'll pick as veep...$64,000 question.  Does he want someone with a montage-worthy past and a strong arm?  Or does he want to play it safe and wow everyone with an unexpected choice who can debate well and do as he's told? Questions? Comments?  I'll be back tomorrow with a follow-up after the "Second Coming" decides to be forthcoming and throws the media wolf-hounds a juicy steak.
